We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Midland, TX. As a key member of our Energy and Industrial Group, you will play a critical role in the design, modification, and analysis of new and existing oil and gas facility electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design of power plants and other industrial facilities, ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, and client requirements.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and solve complex electrical engineering issues, providing expert guidance to project teams.
- Prepare and review detailed calculations, including three-phase power transient studies, voltage drop, and protective relay settings.
- Interface with vendors to prepare materials and equipment purchase specifications for client recommendations.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including reports and studies that present technical information in a clear and concise manner.
- BSEE degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program; MSEE preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in power plant or industrial plant design, with a focus on integrated, detailed system design for new facilities, or modifications or replacements for existing facilities specific for Oil and Gas.
- Experience in the selection of equipment, materials, control philosophy, and the preparation and assembling of calculations and specifications.
- Experience with electrical system design, including medium and low voltage distribution systems, communication systems, equipment selection, and analytical calculations.
