The Neil Jones Food Company is a leading manufacturer of high-quality food products, committed to delivering exceptional products to our customers. We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Warehouse Inspector to join our team.

As a Quality Assurance Warehouse Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting quality checks on outbound finished goods and incoming raw ingredients and packaging materials. You will document and report results, manage issues with substandard raw ingredients and defective packaging materials with suppliers, and investigate and analyze customer complaints and internal finished product issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished goods for compliance with established quality specifications, Letters of Guarantee, and other relevant documentation.
  • Investigate daily finished product scrap issues to implement and execute a scrap reduction program.
  • Sample and test quality checks on incoming raw ingredients and packaging materials for conformance to specifications.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of nonconformance with established standards and provide timely feedback with solutions to Materials and Quality teams.
  • Identify and report damaged, pest infestation, scrap, or discrepant material.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma; associate's degree in food science, Quality Assurance, or related field preferred; or any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties of the position.
  • Two years' relevant experience, preferably in a food processing facility or operation; skill in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, Critical Control Points (CCPs), and fundamental principles of physical and biological sciences (e.g., chemistry, biology), food science, and technology.
  • Read, write, and speak fluent English to successfully accomplish essential functions; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, work extended schedule and weekends during the fresh pack season, typically July to early October.
Compensation and Benefits:

The Neil Jones Food Company offers a competitive salary range of $21 - $25.40, based on experience and qualifications. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) match, company-paid life and AD&D insurance, and numerous other voluntary insurance products available.
