Canyon Country Donation Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Donation Attendant to join our team at the Salvation Army Canyon Country thrift store. As a key member of our retail team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our donation process.

• Maintain a clean and organized donation area, ensuring a positive experience for donors.
• Assist donors in the receipt of donated items and provide excellent customer service.
• Sort and separate donated materials into the proper containers, adhering to our quality control standards.
• Collaborate with our PA/Drivers to load donations onto trucks, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
• Communicate with your supervisor to ensure adequate supplies and resources.
• Secure and lock the donation trailer/pod at the end of each shift.

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and understand written and verbal instructions.
• Pass a background check, including a criminal history and sex offender registry check.

• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
• Ability to grasp, push, pull objects weighing up to 75lbs.
• Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks.

Our stores operate 7 days a week. Schedules are determined by management, and flexibility is essential to ensure adequate store coverage. Full-time associates may be scheduled to work any full-time shift, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
