Cybersecurity Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team at Kimball Electronics. As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our global network and systems.

• Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies to protect our network and systems from cyber threats.
• Conduct regular security risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigation and remediation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the implementation of robust security controls and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies, and provide guidance on best practices for security.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including IT leaders and security teams.
• Participate in the development and implementation of cybersecurity policies and procedures.
• Provide training and awareness programs to employees on cybersecurity best practices.
• Conduct incident response and management activities in the event of a security breach.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on network security.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, including NIST and ISO 27001.
• Experience with security tools and technologies, including CrowdStrike and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

• CISSP or CISM certification.
• Experience with security analytics and threat intelligence.
• Knowledge of cloud security and compliance.
• Experience with security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) tools.
