We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team at Kimball Electronics. As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our global network and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies to protect our network and systems from cyber threats.
- Conduct regular security risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigation and remediation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the implementation of robust security controls and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies, and provide guidance on best practices for security.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including IT leaders and security teams.
- Participate in the development and implementation of cybersecurity policies and procedures.
- Provide training and awareness programs to employees on cybersecurity best practices.
- Conduct incident response and management activities in the event of a security breach.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on network security.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, including NIST and ISO 27001.
- Experience with security tools and technologies, including CrowdStrike and Microsoft Sentinel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- CISSP or CISM certification.
- Experience with security analytics and threat intelligence.
- Knowledge of cloud security and compliance.
- Experience with security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) tools.
