Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Systems Administrator to support internal and external customers with technology solutions. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain PCs, phone equipment, and other connectivity equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Helpdesk Support: Act as the first point of contact for helpdesk requests, providing timely and professional assistance to internal and external customers.
  • Software Updates: Keep Amigo up to date on software releases, ensuring that our systems are secure and running efficiently.
  • Backup and Recovery: Monitor and ensure daily backups of system data, ensuring business continuity in case of any disruptions.
  • Training and Development: Train Amigo associates on computer software and hardware, ensuring that they have the necessary skills to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Active Directory and Group Policies: Maintain Active Directory and implement group policies to ensure secure and efficient access to company resources.
  • Network Configuration: Configure network switches, firewalls, and routers to ensure optimal network performance.
  • Documentation and Communication: Keep detailed notes on configurations and issue resolutions, and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Vendor Management: Work with vendors from copier, phone, and software companies to ensure that our systems are running smoothly.
  • Cloud-Based Applications: Maintain and administer virtualized and cloud-based SaaS applications to ensure seamless integration with our systems.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Maintaining computer networks and systems, monitoring computer systems to improve network performance, problem-solving skills, networking experience, Windows OS and Office 365 experience, PC software/hardware knowledge.
  • Soft Skills: Quality of work, promptness, willingness to help others, ability to meet customer needs, keeping work area clean and organized.
