Job Title: Travel PCU Registered Nurse

We are seeking an experienced and empathetic Registered Nurse to join our team as a Travel PCU Registered Nurse in Albuquerque, NM.

Job Summary:

This is a 13-week travel assignment for a Registered Nurse to work in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a reputable healthcare facility in Albuquerque, NM. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients in the PCU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and families about various health conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
  • Monitor and report patient vital signs and medical information to the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications and monitor patients for side effects and reactions.
Requirements:
  • Current and unencumbered RN state licensure in NM or compact state.
  • 2 years of experience in an 18+ bed telemetry/progressive care unit.
  • Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
