Job Title: Postdoctoral Scholar

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Scholar to join our research team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in public health, health services research, epidemiology, or a related field.

Job Summary:

The Postdoctoral Scholar will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of research projects, including data collection, analysis, and dissemination of study findings. The individual will also be expected to develop and implement research protocols, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to the development of research proposals.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage research projects, including data collection, analysis, and dissemination of study findings
  • Develop and implement research protocols
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve research goals
  • Contribute to the development of research proposals
  • Assist in the development of independent and collaborative presentations and publications
  • Develop analytical models under the guidance of the investigators
  • Participate in the development of peer-reviewed manuscript publications
  • Maintain IRB compliance and update IRB protocols as necessary
  • Collaborate proficiently and communicate effectively with colleagues and management teams
Requirements:
  • Doctoral degree (PhD, DrPH, MD, DDS, DMD) in public health, health services research, epidemiology, or a related population health discipline
  • English proficiency
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with Stata, SAS, or other statistical software
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Grant writing experience
  • Evidence of publication in peer-reviewed journals
  • Project management experience
  • Experience in Machine Learning
  • Experience using large databases for analysis
  • Sound statistical knowledge
