Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mathematics Educator to join our team at InsideHigherEd. As a Mathematics Educator, you will be responsible for tutoring higher-level Mathematics, including several levels of calculus, finite mathematics, probability, and statistics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Tutor students in higher-level Mathematics, including calculus, finite mathematics, probability, and statistics
  • Demonstrate subject proficiency and assist students in understanding subject material
  • Know basic study techniques and maintain records of students tutored
  • Develop and implement effective tutoring strategies to support student learning
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement Mathematics curriculum

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or related field required
  • Previous experience in teaching and/or tutoring higher Mathematics required
  • Mastery of multiple subjects, knowledge of TI graphing calculators, and familiarity with instructional technology preferred
  • Teaching/Tutoring experience preferred
