- As the flagship hospital in our system, UT Health Tyler boasts 502 licensed beds, focusing on advanced acute care medicine. Our facility features a 24-hour emergency room with a Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, and a diverse group of over 500 physicians across various specialties.

The RNFA collaborates closely with the surgical team, providing assistance during the intraoperative phase of patient care.
Essential QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
- An Associate Degree in Nursing (A.D.N.) or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) from an accredited institution.
- Successful completion of an accredited first assistant training program.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in Texas.
- CNOR certification is required.
- BLS certification is mandatory.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ACLS certification is preferred.
