Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at IntelyCare. As a CNA, you will provide supportive care to residents in Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs), Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), and other post-acute settings. You will assist residents with daily activities, such as mobility, personal hygiene, and feeding, while also monitoring their vital signs and reporting any concerns to the broader nursing team.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with mobility, personal hygiene, toileting, feeding, and other activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Monitor residents throughout the shift and alert the broader nursing team to any concerns
  • Check temperature, blood pressure, and other vital signs, and report any abnormal events to supervising staff
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic environment by changing linens and helping to clean residents' rooms, etc.
  • Move residents to and from wheelchairs, beds, and exam tables
  • Offer companionship and a compassionate, engaged ear to residents and their loved ones
  • Understand how to communicate with visitors, family members, and staff
Qualifications and Skills
  • Current Massachusetts Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology and nursing care procedures
  • Effective organizational skills and communication skills
  • Appropriate bedside manner
