Job Description: As a Recreational Therapist in our Community Outreach Program, you will play a critical role in designing and delivering recreational activities for special needs populations. Your goal will be to promote physical activity, social interaction, and personal growth among program participants.Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and leading recreational programs, such as sports tournaments, art classes, and social events.
- Monitoring participant behavior and providing support as needed.
- Collaborating with other department staff to ensure program success.
- Providing excellent customer service to program participants and their families.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- One year of related experience in therapeutic recreation or working with special needs populations.
- Valid Georgia driver's license required.
