Job Summary

Kids Above All is seeking a part-time overnight youth care worker for our group home setting. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about working with adolescents and providing a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervision and Monitoring: Provide supervision and monitoring of residents to ensure their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Policy Enforcement: Enforce and maintain consistency concerning policies, rules, and licensing standards.
  • Collaboration and Planning: Work cooperatively with other staff to plan and supervise recreational and leisure time activities within the group home and community.
  • Decision Making: Make frequent decisions regarding resident activities and behaviors, and ensure the safety and security of residents and staff.
  • Record Keeping: Perform required record keeping for daily logs and resident files.
Requirements
  • Education: High School degree or equivalent.
  • Experience: 0-3 years of experience working with teens in a social service setting is a plus, but not required.
  • Driver's License: Valid Driver's license with a clean driving record and access to an insured automobile that meets safety standards for transporting clients.
  • Residency: Must reside in Illinois.
  • Availability: Overnight position Friday and Saturday, 11 PM - 7 AM.
