Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team in a temporary production/assembly role. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for performing routine and repetitive operations in a flexible manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mechanical and electrical operations or assemblies involving fixed indicating meters, in-circuit test/functional test, marking machines, jigs & fixtures, packaging equipment, wire cutting, stripping & twisting equipment, and various types of fastening devices.
  • Assemble and/or repair printed wiring assemblies (PWA), subassemblies, instruments, and final assemblies of various components utilizing a wide range of tools, work processes, and skills to approved documented procedures/specifications.
  • Handle, mix, and test hazardous chemicals as required.
  • Perform inspection tasks to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Kits and packs printed wiring board assemblies.
  • Initiate and maintain accurate paperwork and records as required by the job.
  • Responsible for daily clean-up of all assigned work areas.
  • Interact with computer systems to enter/extract data.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written work instructions in English.
  • Ability to add/subtract whole numbers, fractions, and decimals using direct reading, gauges, rulers, and scales.
  • Successful completion of a 1-hour onsite Post Offer Employment Test.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. as required by the job task.
  • Ability to stand for significant portions of the shift.
  • Ability to obtain a US security clearance (if required).
Working Conditions

The work environment is a professional office environment and a manufacturing environment. The employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment may be loud.
