Responsibilities
  • Patient Safety: Provide safe and effective patient care by utilizing best practices during hand-off communication and when reporting patient care information, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Clinical Assessments: Perform systematic assessments according to established criteria, recognizing and responding to abnormal diagnostic data, and reporting findings to relevant staff members.
  • Caring & Code of Conduct: Develop and maintain professional relationships with patients, families, and staff, treating all individuals with respect and courtesy.
  • Critical Thinking: Utilize theoretical knowledge to operationalize care, making informed decisions that prioritize patient well-being.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and complete documentation, adhering to hospital, regulatory, and legal requirements.
  • Population-Specific Competency: Complete mandatory education competencies as defined by the unit's scope of service, providing culturally competent care to patients and families.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to lift, move, and load 30-50 pounds
  • Flexibility to work alternate shift schedules, including evenings, nights, and weekends
Compensation

We offer an estimated salary range of $60,000-$80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
