TravelCenters of America is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient service to customers by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose and repair complex issues with heavy-duty trucks and trailers
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
- Work with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions
- Collaborate with other technicians to complete repairs and meet deadlines
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in the industry
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of experience in a related field, such as diesel mechanics or heavy-duty truck repair
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment
