ABOUT NORTHERN TIER HIGH ADVENTURE PROGRAM
As a premier high adventure destination for the Boy Scouts of America, we focus on wilderness canoe expeditions in the Boundary Waters and Canada, as well as winter camping adventures. Throughout the summer, scouts from our various canoe bases explore vast, unspoiled lakes, winding rivers, lush forests, and wetlands across Northern Minnesota and beyond. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SUMMER RETAIL SALES CLERK
In the role of a Summer Retail Sales Clerk, you will engage with every visitor participating in our programs. Your interactions with scouts will ensure they have a memorable experience. Your responsibilities will include organizing product displays to enhance visibility and customer engagement, all while gaining valuable work experience. This summer position promises to be both rewarding and unforgettable.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SUMMER RETAIL SALES CLERK
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Available for the summer season
- Strong commitment to customer service
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in tasks
Are you capable of critical thinking and working independently with minimal oversight? Do you possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills? Can you effectively engage with both youth and adults? If you enjoy organizing displays and can maintain composure under pressure, this retail sales position could be ideal for you.
SEASONAL WORK SCHEDULE
This retail sales role typically involves working six days with one day off each week throughout the summer.
