OB/GYN Physician

Sun River Health is seeking an OB/GYN Physician to join our team at our Poughkeepsie location. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and participating in the planning and development of healthcare services.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat patients in your specialty area, collaborating with nurse practitioners and physician assistants as needed.
- Participate in planning and developing healthcare services, including treatment of conditions and illnesses within your scope of practice.
- Referral and follow-up of patients when indicated, and participate in after-hours coverage to ensure 24-hour availability of care for Center patients.
- Perform job duties in compliance with systems and job-specific standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct daily clinical assessments, taking histories, examining, diagnosing, and treating patients as per your specialty scope of practice and privileges granted.
- Document patient information accurately, following evidence-based guidelines and US preventative task force recommendations.
- Participate in chart review processes, completing peer audits as per SRH guidelines and incorporating suggestions into practice.
- Display compassionate patient care and sensitivity, understanding patient needs, concerns, and socioeconomic conditions.
- Commit to continuing education, growth, and expansion, attending annual CME and participating in additional training webinars and conferences.
Requirements
- Doctorate degree (M.D., D.O., or PhD) and valid license to practice in New York State.
- Board certified or eligible in internal medicine.
- 2-4 years of related work experience.
Salary Range
$250,000 - $300,000 yearly
