Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician with Inspection Authorization (IA) to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet and customer aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:


As an Aircraft Maintenance Technician, you will:

1. Exhibit the necessary maturity, judgment, and analytical skills to execute all facets of aircraft maintenance and preventive measures on both fleet and customer aircraft.

2. Conduct taxi and run-up procedures for aircraft.

3. Perform 50/100 Hour and Annual Inspections at mandated intervals on all aircraft.

4. Execute major repairs and modifications, ensuring compliance with Form -337 and STC installation requirements.

5. Assess the airworthiness of aircraft and components in accordance with established protocols and Federal Aviation Regulations.

6. Be prepared to work evenings, weekends, or respond to A.O.G. situations as necessary.

7. Ensure the completeness of all assigned documentation and assist in maintaining a clean maintenance environment.

8. Collaborate with the Director of Maintenance or Shift Supervisor to coordinate all activities and fulfill assigned tasks.


Qualifications:


To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

1. A high school diploma or equivalent, or a combination of education and experience that enables the execution of job functions.

2. A valid Airframe and Powerplant mechanics license with a current Inspection Authorization endorsement, along with sufficient training and professional experience.

3. Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations pertaining to aircraft maintenance.

4. The ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications to evaluate the feasibility and methods for repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.

5. All necessary tools for the job.

6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

7. A results-oriented and self-motivated work ethic.

8. Physical capabilities including stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, fingering, and feeling, with the ability to lift, carry, or move aircraft components weighing up to 50 lbs.


Work Environment:


This position involves working in hangars, on the flight line, or at remote locations under various weather conditions, often in elevated noise environments.
