We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Laborer to join our team at 48forty Solutions and Relogistics Services. As a Warehouse Laborer, you will be responsible for hand sorting pallets to grade, ensuring all trash and debris is removed, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hand stacking pallets to appropriate heights, following inventory control instructions
  • Loading and unloading materials from trailers by hand
  • Moving pallets or materials on pallets or in crates around the storage facility
  • Checking loads to ensure they are secure
  • Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards
  • Utilizing yard management systems to coordinate trailer moves
  • Completing all production paperwork with accuracy
  • Communicating directly with Shift Lead or On-Site Manager
  • Maintaining Relogistics efficiency and performance standards of production
  • Ensuring a clean and safe working environment that meets Relogistics standards

Requirements:

  • Good math, language, and reading skills with attention to detail and basic computer skills
  • High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others and promote a safe work environment
  • Ability to follow instructions for keeping records
  • Understanding that overtime may be required and is considered mandatory
  • Previous experience with lumber, welding, construction, carpentry, roofing, landscaping is strongly preferred

  • Ability to work in extreme conditions, including elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
  • Repetitively lifting up to 50-75 pounds and adjusting body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for entire shifts of varying lengths in time
  • Frequently required to sit, talk, hear, walk, and use hands to handle, feel, and reach
  • Noise level in the work environment is dependent on location
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision
  • Must have a good sense of balance and good eye-hand-foot coordination
  • Ability to work overtime and flexible schedule/shifts
