About the Position

The Oden Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences at The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a distinguished investigator to fill a Moncrief Endowed Chair at the level of Associate or Full Professor in the area of Computational Medicine.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct cutting-edge research in computational medicine
  • Mentor students and postdoctoral researchers
  • Develop and teach courses in computational science and engineering

Requirements
  • PhD in a quantitative science or engineering discipline
  • Strong record of research accomplishments, publications, and external funding
  • Experience in mentoring and teaching
  • Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
