Academic Credential Assessor

Position Overview:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of undergraduate student qualifications through the degree auditing procedure to ensure adherence to graduation standards.
• Assess and assign course credits from external educational institutions in line with institutional policies, including Advanced Placement and Transfer credits.
• Provide one-on-one consultations with students and address their questions and concerns.
• Engage with prospective transfer students during recruitment events and offer insights on credit transfer processes.
• Maintain and update student records in the academic advising system based on departmental approvals.
• Authorize external coursework in accordance with institutional guidelines.
• Support student registration and orientation initiatives.
• Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of pertinent experience in a related field.
