Quality Assurance Inspector - Temporary Full-Time Role

Location: Kirkland, WA

Position Overview

The Quality Assurance Inspector will engage in a variety of inspection activities, utilizing blueprints, engineering change notices, and established operational protocols to assess product quality at different production stages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize drawings, procedures, and specifications to inspect incoming parts, materials, components, and electronic hardware from vendors or subcontractors.
  • Conduct inspections on in-process and finished assemblies to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards.
  • Assist in defining methods and sequences for inspection processes.
  • Interpret and apply industry workmanship standards and established procedures during inspections.
  • Identify and document non-conformance issues clearly and concisely.
  • Review and validate First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation from suppliers.
  • Perform shipping inspections, including verification of shipping documents, part labeling, and packaging.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED is required.
Typically requires 5+ years of relevant experience in quality inspection.

Technical Skills:
Proficient in Quality Control Analysis, capable of conducting tests and inspections to evaluate product quality.
Familiarity with MS Office, particularly MS Excel at a beginner level.
Ability to learn various business systems.

Eligibility Requirements
As a contractor for the US Department of Defense, candidates must meet the criteria outlined by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Only US Persons under ITAR are eligible.

An employment offer is contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment background check and drug screening, which includes testing for cannabis use.

Compensation:
The hourly wage for this position is $40.10. Salary offers may vary based on experience, skills, training, education, certifications, and market conditions.
