Job Summary

Gracepoint Wellness is seeking a compassionate and empathetic Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in the Forensic Treatment Program-North Campus. As a key member of our multidisciplinary treatment team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients with behavioral health disorders, utilizing the nursing process to assess, identify, and address patient needs.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient physiological, psychosocial, and environmental needs, reporting findings to the Registered Nurse.
  • Implement the plan of care based on nursing standards and practice, ensuring accurate and complete documentation.
  • Evaluate the appropriateness of nursing interventions, demonstrating critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Monitor staff and workflow, sharing professional and technical knowledge following policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Current, unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Florida.
  • 1 year experience in a behavioral health setting, with ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, patients, families, employees, and the general public.
  • Ability to multi-task, display decision-making and critical thinking skills, and basic computer skills.
Work Environment

Inpatient behavioral health care setting, fast-paced team approach, requiring above-average time management skills.
