Chemistry Instructor

The Chemistry Department at Dickinson College is seeking a visiting faculty member to teach courses in organic chemistry and biochemistry, starting August 2024. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in chemistry or a closely related field and experience in creating inclusive learning environments.

• Teach a five-course load, including a senior seminar in the candidate's area of expertise and organic and/or biochemistry lecture and/or labs.
• Conduct research in dedicated laboratory space that engages undergraduate students.
• Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the department's goals and objectives.

• PhD in chemistry or a closely related field.
• Experience in teaching at the undergraduate level.
• Ability to create inclusive learning environments.
• Interdisciplinary expertise is a plus.

• A highly selective four-year, independent liberal arts college with a diverse student body.
