Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Infojini. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ultrasound Exam Coordination: Prioritize and coordinate ultrasound exams with nursing units, radiologists, and referring physicians to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate ultrasound and associated equipment with proficiency, adhering to departmental protocols and standards.
  • Patient Care: Provide adequate patient care as it relates to the exam requested, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for all patients.
  • Technical Quality: Evaluate the technical quality of exams and develop superior techniques to enhance efficiency in the department.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Report malfunctioning equipment to the Assistant Director, Lead Sonographer, and/or Engineer to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Administrative Tasks: Operate the Radiology computer system to enter and charge exams and supplies, maintaining accurate records and adhering to departmental rules and regulations.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (S) required.
  • Education: Graduate of a comprehensive medical diagnostic ultrasound program preferred.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication skills.

Physical Requirements: Moderate to heavy physical efforts in lifting and moving patients, equipment, and supplies up to 600 pounds with assistance. Requires walking, standing, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting during normal operation.
