Audiologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Audiologist to join our team at ICONMA. As an Audiologist, you will be responsible for providing a full range of audiological services, including diagnostic testing, counseling, and rehabilitative planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer diagnostic audiological tests to differentiate between types of hearing disorders
  • Coordinate and interpret test results, and consult with physicians on hearing disorders
  • Provide diagnostic evaluation of hearing, prevention, habilitation, and rehabilitation services for auditory problems
  • Counsel individuals with auditory disorders, their families, and other service providers on the etiology of the disorder and its management
  • Provide reports and coordinate audiological results with other diagnostic data
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Audiology or Clinical Doctorate in Audiology
  • Current valid license in audiology from the California Board of Medical Quality Assurance, Speech Pathology and Audiology Examining Committee
  • Certification of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and/or membership in The American Academy of Audiology preferred
  • 2-3 years of progressively responsible experience as an Audiologist in an ambulatory or healthcare setting
