Job Description

The Supervisor, Clinical Pharmacist will lead the clinical team, ensuring quality, compliance, and efficiency while supporting Empower's mission to deliver innovative medications. This role will foster collaboration, accountability, and excellence in patient care.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead and supervise the clinical pharmacist team by managing schedules, providing feedback, and ensuring adequate staffing to meet customer expectations.
  2. Train and develop clinical pharmacists on policies, procedures, and service offerings while maintaining up-to-date resources and overseeing quality control for training needs.
  3. Maintain a culture of continuous improvement, monitoring clinical pharmacists' metrics and key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing action plans to enhance performance.
  4. Collaborate with internal departments and the Class G Pharmacist-in-Charge to ensure prompt prescription processing, accurate adverse event reporting, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience required, with 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
  • Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR)/Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) certification preferred.
