Job Summary

DTK Facility Services is seeking a skilled Landscaper to join our team in Houston, TX. As a Landscaper, you will be responsible for performing commercial landscaping duties, including mowing, blowing, line trimming, edging, and debris removal. You will work as part of a team to complete tasks to the account manager's expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to company safety regulations
  • Operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently
  • Monitor and maintain equipment in working order
  • Perform hand weeding and clean-up of beds
  • Install landscaping materials, including plants, flowers, mulch, and hardscaping
  • Follow instructions from foreman and account manager to ensure quality landscaping services
  • Attend mandatory meetings to review safety and learn best horticultural practices
Requirements
  • At least one year of commercial or residential landscaping experience
  • Driver's license a plus
  • Ability to work alone and manage time efficiently
  • Good communication skills
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus
Work Conditions and Physical Requirements
  • Most work will be done in an outside setting in all seasons of the year
  • Regularly work with mechanical objects
  • Frequent 8 –10-hour work days
  • Must have complete use of hands to operate tools
  • Must be able to see up close or from distance with or without the aid of eyeglasses
  • Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time
  • Must be able to bend, reach, climb, and balance
  • May be required to lift or move objects of 25-50 pounds
