Senior Mechanical Engineer

Skyryse is revolutionizing the aviation industry by making flying safer and more accessible. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer - Actuators and Controls, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing electromechanical systems for our aircraft platforms.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop electromechanical actuators, joy-stick assemblies, and related mechanical assemblies and components.
- Collaborate with test pilots, flight control engineers, software engineers, and airframe specific experts to determine design criteria and build solutions quickly and effectively.
- Drive designs through concept, prototyping, testing, and production release.
- Develop assembly procedures for LRUs and ensure compatibility with composite and metallic materials.
- Utilize 3D modeling and 2D drafting packages to deliver detailed designs with considerations for production and test.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- 7+ years of professional working experience in a full cycle mechanical engineering role.
- Experience with structural static analysis (hand calculations and FEA) and common aerospace materials, finishes, and processes.
- Familiarity with static, fatigue, shock, and vibration analysis and manufacturing processes.
