About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Scenic Carpenter to join our Live Entertainment Department at Carowinds. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and installing sets, structures, and equipment for our live shows and events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and implement plans and blueprints to translate designer concepts into functional builds
  • Assemble and install structures, equipment, and infrastructure with minimal supervision
  • Operate a variety of equipment, including golf carts, forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, construction equipment, and motor vehicles
  • Work individually or in a team setting to achieve project goals
Requirements
  • Previous experience working on productions in a fully equipped theater or similar setting
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to work and interact with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Good judgment and a commitment to safety
  • Availability to work weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays
