Overview of the Role

We are seeking an experienced Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Huber Technology Inc. As a key member of our production operations, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various metalworking machines, including flight presses, profile benders, and tapping machines.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sheet metal operations, precision work, and quality control procedures. They should be able to troubleshoot issues and make adjustments as needed to meet daily production requirements.

About the Job

This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 6am-2:30pm, with a 30-minute lunch break. The successful candidate will be required to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced shop environment with exposure to noise, dust, and particles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate metalworking machines, including flight presses, profile benders, and tapping machines.
  • Cut, bend, roll, or shape metal stock into parts or products according to design drawings and specifications.
  • Inspect product quality and check dimensions, shapes, and other specifications to ensure conformance to standards.
  • Examine, inspect, and measure raw materials and finished products to verify conformity to specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and perform corrective action or minor repairs on non-conforming parts.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent years of experience.
  • Descent computer skills.
  • Experience with overhead cranes and rigging.
  • Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and hydraulic equipment.
Bonus Points:
  • Some experience with profile bending, drill, and tapping machines.
  • Beginner level plate rolling experience.
