About the Job:

  • As a School Bus Driver with First Student, you'll play a vital role in transporting students safely and efficiently to and from school.
  • Our industry-leading technology will guide you through your daily routes, ensuring you stay on track and deliver excellent service.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain the highest standards of safety and vehicle maintenance.
  • Provide exceptional support to students by assisting with boarding and exiting the bus, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Good verbal communication skills to effectively interact with students and colleagues.
  • At least 21 years old to meet our minimum age requirement.
  • A valid driver's license for at least 3 years, demonstrating your reliability and responsibility.
  • Be subject to a drug screen and physical, ensuring a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Subject to DOT drug testing, adhering to federal regulations and maintaining a safe work environment.
