We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Snack Shop Team Member at BJ's Wholesale Club. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet members, answer questions, and recommend products to enhance their shopping experience.
- Food Preparation: Prepare and serve food items, including hot dogs, popcorn, and other snacks, using food preparation equipment and following food safety procedures.
- Inventory Management: Receive and store food items, maintain inventory levels, and ensure that all products are fresh and meet company quality standards.
- Cash Handling: Collect payments from customers, process transactions, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
- Sanitation and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following company safety and sanitation procedures, and ensuring that all equipment and areas are clean and well-maintained.
Requirements:
- Food Service Experience: Prior experience in a food service environment is preferred.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with members and colleagues.
- Physical Demands: Ability to move frequently on hard surfaces, lift objects up to 30 pounds, and occasionally lift and move heavy and/or awkward objects with assistance.
