Job Summary:

Sigma Healthcare is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technician to join our team. As a Cath Lab Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our medical team in the catheterization laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Imaging and Diagnostic Procedures: Utilize advanced imaging equipment to assist physicians in detecting and treating cardiovascular conditions.
  • Patient Care and Support: Take patient medical histories, answer questions, and provide emotional support before procedures.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all equipment is in good working order and ready for use.
  • Image Evaluation: Evaluate images for quality and accuracy, identifying any abnormalities or issues.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Operational Support: Assist with the operation of radiologic equipment, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Accurately document patient information and maintain accurate records.
  • Supply Management: Coordinate and organize supplies, equipment, and instruments needed for procedures.
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in activities to plan, measure, and improve the quality of patient care.

Requirements:

  • Certifications and Licensure: Current BLS certification and MD license required.
  • Experience: Cath/Angio/EP scrub and tech experience necessary.
