Job Title: Lead Electrical Systems Engineer

Location: Graniteville, SC

Compensation: USD $90K - $125K Annually, inclusive of comprehensive benefits

Employment Status: Full-Time Permanent

Work Schedule: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week

Core Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and optimize machinery and control systems to improve safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Provide electrical engineering expertise, spearhead enhancement initiatives, and manage significant projects.
  • Analyze project specifications, supervise project workflows, and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
  • Recommend modifications to existing systems based on thorough analysis.
Engineering Tasks
  • Develop engineering designs and collaborate with suppliers.
  • Create detailed engineering drawings and conduct risk evaluations.
  • Design hardware components, specify and procure electrical equipment, and execute Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for machinery.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Expertise in PLC programming and control system designs.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial control systems and electrical frameworks.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.
  • Capability to lead cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with A/C inverters and servo drives.
  • Familiarity with Ethernet IP communications and power distribution systems.
  • Experience with machine vision technologies and industrial robotics.
  • Knowledge of Mitsubishi PLCs and familiarity with LabVIEW software and SAP.
