About the Role
Akerman LLP is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Litigation Specialist to join our team in Atlanta. As a key member of our litigation practice, you will be responsible for handling complex commercial litigation cases, with a strong emphasis on insurance coverage analysis and litigation, and class actions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting insurance coverage opinions and litigating insurance coverage and bad faith suits or class action litigation
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case development and strategy
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop and implement case plans
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure seamless case management
Requirements
- JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- Member of the State Bar of Georgia
- 2-4 years of experience in general commercial litigation, with a focus on insurance coverage analysis and litigation, and class actions
- Excellent academic record, research, writing, and analytical skills
