Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at Lincolnwood Place. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional food service to our residents, ensuring their nutritional needs are met, and maintaining a clean and safe dining environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in food preparation, serving, and cleaning duties in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Follow and perform duties in adherence to Senior Lifestyle Corporation Dining Policy and Procedures.
  • Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures and ensure that foods follow prescribed modified or therapeutic diets, nutrition/hydration requirements, and resident preferences.
  • Setup, deliver, and verify accuracy of meal trays, food carts, and dining areas as instructed.
  • Assist in obtaining proper food supplies for the next meal and assist cooks in preparation of menu items.
  • Perform kitchen utility duties such as sweeping and mopping floors, bussing items from dining areas to the dish room, washing and cleaning small wares and equipment, and cleaning and sanitizing work areas, cutting boards, and table tops.
  • Know and adhere to all company and local, state, and county health department's regulations.
  • Ensure that all dining areas are clean and safely operating.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • Entry-Level (0-3 Years) experience in Food Service or Hospitality
  • Serv Safe or required certification from local, county, or state department
  • Capable of communicating well verbally and in a manner understood by management, co-workers, and residents who may have hearing or cognitive impairments
