Key Responsibilities- Imaging Expertise: Utilize advanced imaging techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily quality control checks on CT equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Patient Care: Inject patients with radioactive material as per physician orders, following established protocols to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures, including logs, manuals, and charge documents, to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct quality control and quality assurance tests to ensure radiation safety and adherence to the ALARA principle.
- Image Retrieval and Management: Retrieve and maintain patient images and electronic data for radiologist interpretation, ensuring timely and accurate diagnosis.
- Supply Chain Management: Order and receive radiopharmaceuticals, verifying proper receipt and activity levels prior to administration.
- Procedure Execution: Perform CT procedures according to established protocols, ensuring uniformity and accuracy in imaging results.
- Patient Assessment: Exercise judgment to assess and respond to patient needs, providing exceptional care and support throughout the diagnostic process.
