POSITION SUMMARY:

The role involves delivering exceptional, efficient, and cost-effective medical services within the Primary Care division at Allstarmedicalsupply. The physician will evaluate and address patient needs while overseeing all facets of patient care to ensure the provision of high-quality, economical healthcare. A positive work environment will be fostered for staff, promoting professional development, accountability, and independence. A warm and welcoming atmosphere will be maintained for patients, healthcare staff, referring physicians, and visitors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the general guidance of the Chief Executive Officer and direct supervision of the Practice Manager, the Primary Care physician will execute the following duties in accordance with established policies and regulations:

  1. Deliver high-quality, cost-effective healthcare services.
  2. Work collaboratively with internists, family practitioners, and pediatricians to enhance the efficiency of primary care services.
  3. Support the recruitment of primary care physicians to meet community healthcare needs.
  4. Promote a culture of collegial collaboration within the practice.
  5. Prioritize community needs and patient interests, ensuring access, quality, cost, and satisfaction.
  6. Devote professional time and efforts to the responsibilities of the position.
  7. Participate in the selection of new primary care physicians and specialists based on quality and fit.
  8. Encourage respect and appreciation among all healthcare professionals.
  9. Engage in business decisions affecting the practice.
  10. New members will have equal rights and responsibilities in practice management.
  11. Collaborate with the Chief Operating Officer on management responsibilities.
  12. Maintain tax-exempt status while serving the underserved populations.
  13. Compensation will be primarily based on individual productivity, guided by competitive norms.
  14. Compensation structures will not be influenced by patient referral volumes.
  15. Annual compensation funds will be approved based on the business plan and overall contributions.
  16. Debt will only be incurred in accordance with approved business plans.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Individuals must possess the following qualifications or demonstrate the ability to perform essential job functions:

WORK SCHEDULE: A full-time schedule consists of 36 patient contact hours per week, along with 4 administrative hours. Weekly schedules may vary between 4 to 4.5 days based on daily hours worked.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Education:
  • Graduate of an accredited medical school. MD or DO required.
Experience:
  • Demonstrated experience as a physician with a solid understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics.
Licensure/Certification:
  • Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, or Board Eligible with completion of boards within two years.
  • Current state medical license.
