Job Summary:

As a Traveling Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for providing speech therapy services to patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers. You will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address each patient's unique needs and goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' communication skills and develop treatment plans to address identified needs
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients, using a variety of techniques and strategies to promote communication and language development
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address each patient's unique needs and goals
  • Document patient progress and communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in speech therapy, and incorporate this knowledge into your practice
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of practice
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist, preferably in a travel or contract setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care
