Facility Maintenance Team Member Job Summary

We are seeking a highly reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our Facility Maintenance team at Planet Fitness. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facility, ensuring a positive experience for our members and guests.

Essential Duties:

  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize all common areas, including restrooms, locker rooms, fitness equipment, and Black Card Spa, according to Planet Fitness cleaning standards.
  • Operate the floor scrubber machine on an established schedule to ensure thorough cleaning of all floors.
  • Properly dispose of trash and maintain the trash cans/cleaning centers.
  • Replenish supplies and paper products as needed.
  • Clean/dust items high off the ground, such as ceiling fans, TVs, and rafters.
  • Report any broken or missing amenities or equipment.
  • Operate washing machine and dryer.

Salary and Benefits:

The hourly pay range for this position is $16.00 to $17.25. We also offer a comprehensive benefit package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, short-term and long-term disability, term life insurance, 401(k) retirement savings plan, flexible spending accounts, vacation, sick, and holiday pay, and a free Black Card Membership.
