Mathematics Instructor

We are seeking a highly dedicated and skilled Mathematics Instructor to join our team at St. Mary Cathedral School in Gaylord, MI. As a Mathematics Instructor, you will be responsible for providing a supportive and challenging learning environment for our students, helping them to develop a strong foundation in mathematics and achieve academic excellence.

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and develop curriculum.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed about student progress.
• Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and educational research to ensure our students receive the best possible education.

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• Valid State of Michigan Education Certificate or actively enrolled in certificate program.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to assess, plan, and implement instruction.
• Ability to connect with students and engage them in learning.

This position requires the ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive hand movements on a daily basis. The ability to lift and/or carry approximately 20 pounds is also required.
