Job Description:

This Production Fabricator position performs routine duties involving the cutting and threading of pipes, making on-fitting, bundling, and cleaning up. The successful candidate will have basic knowledge of fabrication processes and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Operating machinery such as rotary chop saws and band saws to cut pipes to length.
  2. Maintaining pipe movement and loading onto carts or crates for staging.
  3. Utilizing Victaulic or Pace Grooving machines for grooved pipe ends.
  4. Applying threads to desired pipes using threaders.
  5. Using Mercury or Pace Make on machines to fit pipes with fittings.
  6. Cutting threaded rods to specified lengths using band saws.
  7. Installing hanger devices to threaded rods.
  8. Applying required ends to threaded rods using bench grinders.
  9. Pushing pipe carts to loading areas.
  10. Stapling cardboard boxes to pallets using pneumatic staple guns.
  11. Retrieving materials and moving pipes using forklifts when necessary.
  12. Preparing pipe bundles for shipment using pneumatic banders.
  13. Completing training programs and adhering to safety protocols.
  14. Fulfilling additional tasks as assigned by management.
