We are in search of a skilled and empathetic Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide essential services within educational settings. The ideal candidate will engage with students facing various physical, emotional, or developmental hurdles. Your responsibilities will include evaluating students' functional capabilities, crafting tailored treatment strategies, and executing interventions aimed at fostering independence and achieving personal objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough evaluations of students' physical, emotional, cognitive, and environmental requirements.
- Work collaboratively with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to set treatment objectives and plans.
- Create customized therapy programs designed to enhance students' functional skills, including daily living activities, fine motor abilities, mobility, and social interactions.
- Apply therapeutic techniques and modalities such as exercise regimens, adaptive tools, and sensory integration methods.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral) from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience in assessing and treating individuals with a variety of conditions and disabilities.
