Mental Health Care Specialist

We're seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. In this role, you'll work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care and support.

About the RoleThis is a full-time position that involves working with patients aged 5-17 years old who are experiencing mental health issues such as addiction, anxiety disorders, ADHD, and depression. The role requires critical thinking, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
- Work with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure seamless care transitions
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and treatment planning meetings
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A current LPN license in the state of South Dakota or eligibility for licensure
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Experience working with children and adolescents, preferably in a behavioral health setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
