Job Title: Registered Nurse

OhioHealth Grant Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse to care for patients on our Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1.5 years of experience in Med Surg/Telemetry nursing and be able to read and interpret telemetry. If you are a motivated and organized individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients on the Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit, including drawing labs and handling COVID-19 patients.
  • Care for a variety of surgical patients, including Ortho, GYN, Spine, Urology, and ED patients with conditions such as DM, COPD, and Headaches.
  • Float to other units as required to ensure adequate staffing and patient care.
  • Maintain adherence to the facility's travel compliance standards and participate in orientation, which includes 16 non-billable hours.
  • Reside more than 100 miles from the central facility to qualify for this position.
  • Avoid prior employment in the same health system within the previous 366 days.
  • Adhere to professional conduct and avoid excessive call-offs, which may result in termination.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1.5 years of Med Surg/Telemetry nursing experience.
  • Travel experience preferred.
  • Must hold an appropriate state RN license.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS).
