About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Relationship Banker to join our team at Wells Fargo. As a key member of our Consumer, Small & Business Banking division, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in building relationships with customers and understand their needs
  • Identify opportunities to offer a range of retail banking deposit and credit products and services to customers
  • Analyze business challenges related to full-service banking experience for emerging affluent and high-value customers
  • Present recommendations for resolving customer inquiries and service requests
  • Open and service accounts within authorized limits, create plans for follow-up and scheduled contacts with customers
  • Provide information to internal partners and external sources to enhance the customer experience
  • Identify opportunities to leverage partners and connect customers with the appropriate partner or relationship manager to meet their needs
  • Partner with financial advisors to understand customer needs and provide introductions to address their investment or retirement needs
  • Provide self-service digital banking options to customers
Requirements
  • 2+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • 1+ year of assessing and meeting the needs of customers or helping with issue resolution, demonstrated through work or military experience
  • 1+ year of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
  • Desired qualifications include successfully completed Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 6 and Series 63 examinations, state insurance licenses, and customer service focus with experience handling transactions across multiple systems
