As a Title and Escrow Agent, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of real estate transactions, from purchase to closing. Your attention to detail and ability to multitask will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and disbursing funds as authorized by the Escrow instructions.
  • Preparing and securing deeds and other documents related to Escrow.
  • Closing Escrow when all instructions of the Buyer and Seller have been carried out.
  • Prorating taxes, interest, insurance, and other expenses.
  • Requesting preliminary title searches and beneficiary statements.
  • Complying with Lender requirements and communicating with all parties involved.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • State escrow certification.
  • Proven work experience as an Escrow Officer.
  • Excellent decision-making skills and advanced clerical knowledge.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and property maps.
  • Knowledge of legal codes, court procedures, and executive orders.
