Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the installation and maintenance of client LAN/WAN devices
  • Respond to and resolve incident tickets
  • Draft and implement standard network change requests
  • Provide support to Tier III network engineers for incident management and projects
  • Perform configuration management functions
  • Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs, or upgrades
Requirements:
  • TS SCI with Poly
  • 16 years of experience in a combination of work history and education
  • Compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2
  • Working knowledge of basic routing fundamentals
  • Working knowledge of layer 2 switching concepts
  • Knowledge of CISCO/Juniper Return Material Authorization (RMA) processes
  • Layer 1 and Layer 2 network experience
  • Knowledge of Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) models
  • Knowledge of Cisco Internetworking Operating System (IOS), Juniper JUNOS, and the Brocade and Foundry Operating System (OS)
  • Familiarity with Layer 3 protocols
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Visio, ServiceNow, and Atlassian Confluence
  • Working knowledge of Service Now or similar IT Service Management (ITSM) products
