Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Assistant to join our team at OhioHealth. As a Laboratory Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform phlebotomy and various technical and clerical functions in the laboratory
  • Process and handle blood, tissue, fecal matter, sputum, urine, spinal fluid, and other body fluids
  • Work with infectious diseases, including HIV and other blood-borne pathogens
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in phlebotomy and/or specimen processing
  • Active driver's license and personal auto insurance (for associates working in skilled nursing facilities)
